A lightweight derivative of the Fulvia Rallye 1.3, the HF model features an aluminum hood, trunklid, and doors as well as polycarbonate rear and quarter windows. This example is said to have left the factory in red and was repainted in 1989. Additional exterior features include a fender-mounted side mirror, quad headlights, and blue and yellow center stripes.
Ruspa 13” alloy wheels are mounted with 205/60 Toyo Proxes RA1 tires, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Since 2017, the brake calipers have been rebuilt and the following components have been installed or replaced:
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with fabric inserts accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and felt carpets. Additional appointments include red four-point harnesses, a wood dashboard fascia, a roll bar, and a fire extinguisher mounted behind the passenger seat.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 200-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 100k kilometers (~62k miles).
The 1.3-liter narrow-angle V4 features twin Dellorto DHLB 35mm carburetors that were rebuilt prior to installation. The engine mounts, spark plugs and coolant hoses were replaced and an aluminum radiator was fitted along with an electric puller fan.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that is said to be fitted with straight-cut gears. The clutch was replaced during the refurbishment along with the muffler and center exhaust pipe.
The car was featured in volume 2, issue 4 of Avants magazine, portions of which are viewable in the gallery.
