ORIGINAL NEVADA CAR WITH FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
I had always wanted one of these classic Alfa Romeos in my collection, but in a garage of V8s and V12s racking-up
2-3,000 mi/year each, this one just never really caught my heart as expected, and has added under 300 mi in well
over a year. So, it’s time for it to make room for something else. Since its purchase, it’s been retuned for US
gasoline, oversights corrected, and new window/door/gas filler gaskets acquired, to bring it closer to how it was
originally represented to me. It passed its 2016 inspection in March.
Probably fewer than 1,200 Miles since restoration. Per the previous owner, every system in this Alfa was either
bought new or completely rebuilt:
MOTOR
• 2.0 motor rebuilt from the crank up
• New pistons liners, pistons, machined crank, new gaskets, seals, bearings, etc.
• Converted to euro-spec Weber carburetors (no SPICA injection), rejetted to US fuel
• Head – 3 angle valve job, valve guides, valve seals, all new gaskets and seals, etc…
• New spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor, etc.
• New electric fuel pump and larger-flow fuel filter (March 2015)
• New exhaust system installed
• Oil Sump Guard
• Starts on first twist of the key.
TRANSMISSION
• 5-speed transmission completely rebuilt
• All new gear synchros, bearings, seals, etc.
• New clutch – pressure plate, bearing and clutch disk
• Flywheel re-surfaced – no chatter or whining from the bearing
• The transmission shifts perfectly in every gear – 2nd gear is perfect – no grinding
• New clutch slave cylinder
• Royal Purple synthetic gear fluid
• Rear Differential – overhauled with new bearings, seals, Royal Purple synthetic gear oil
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
• Rebuilt AC compressor
• Rebuilt dryer
• Blows cold
COOLING SYSTEM
• New water pump & thermostat
• Rebuilt radiator
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Correct Cibie Euro halogen headlights with H4 bulbs
• Correct Euro amber (Bosch) inner lights
• Rebuilt Alternator
• Rebuilt Starter
• New starter solenoid
• New heavy duty AC/Delco battery
• Battery relocated to the trunk for better handling and less clutter in the engine bay
FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
• New Master cylinder
• Front and rear calipers completely rebuilt and powder coated
• New ATE front and rear brake rotors
• New premium front and rear brake pads
• New stainless steel brake hoses
• New wheels bearings/seals
• DOT 4 synthetic brake fluid
BODY/PAINT
• This GTV was built from an original dry Nevada desert car
• Prior to restoration, was sunbaked but rust free except for the outer rockers and spare tire carrier, which had
slight perforations from holding moisture
• New Alfa Romeo OEM outer rocker panels were purchased from Classic Alfa and professionally installed
• Car was stripped to bare metal
• Hood, doors, trunk lid were painted separately prior to mounting on the body
• Repainted inside and out with Alfa Romeo Azzurro Pervinca Met using PPG Deltron base/clear
• New one-piece spare tire carrier from Mr. Fiat, first painted Azzurro Pervinca Met, and then installed to
replace perforation-damaged spare tire carrier
• Perfect, rust-free original jack points
• Perfect, original rust-free factory floors
• Alfa Romeo “Serpent” stickers professionally installed (can be removed without damage to the paint)
GLASS & TRIM
• New Windshield glass, and front and rear gaskets
• New rubber moldings and seals, including gas door apron, ready for installation
• All new hardware was utilized – new bolts, nuts, washers, etc.
INTERIOR
• New tan interior from International Auto Parts
• New tan carpet set with bound edges
• New dash – (NOT just a cover) from Classic Alfa
• New wood dash/console inserts
• Original headliner and visors in excellent condition
• Alpine CD/MP3 Stereo System
• Complete black trunk carpet set with bound edges from International Auto Parts
• Alfa Romeo wood steering wheel and wood shift knob (with extra shown in pics)

• The 2 holes in the back interior side panels are for rear ashtrays that have not been installed, but are
