The aluminum bodywork of the Flaminia 2.5 3C was designed, formed, and installed in Milan, Italy, by Carrozzeria Touring using their Superleggera construction technique, which involved wrapping a hand-formed aluminum skin over a steel structure. This example was delivered from the factory in Bianco Saratoga and was repainted in its current white with a gray roof under previous ownership. Equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, quad headlamps, a fender-mounted mirror, an antenna, a locking fuel door, and a dual-exit exhaust.
The gray-painted steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they were mounted with 175HR400 Pirelli Cinturato HS 400 tires in 2022. A matching spare wheel is stowed beneath the trunk floor. The Flaminia GT rode on a 99″ wheelbase and features an independent double-wishbone front suspension and a de Dion tube rear setup with an anti-roll bar. Replacement tie rod ends were installed in October 2022. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted units out back. The brake booster was also overhauled in October 2022.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in brown leather along with a color-coordinated rear bulkhead and door panels. Equipment includes a heater, a locking glovebox, and lap belts. Custom beige Wilton wool floor mats were fitted in April 2022.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a painted steel dash housing a 220-km/h Jaeger speedometer with inset auxiliary gauges as well as a 7k-rpm tachometer housing an inset clock and warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 52k kilometers (~32k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter V6 features alloy construction, a cylinder-bank angle of 60°, and triple Weber downdraft carburetors. Electronic ignition was added under previous ownership, and service performed under the seller’s ownership included the installation of a thermostat and an aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan. Engine stamping 13446 can be seen in the gallery, and it is listed on the Lancia Classiche Certificato di Origine below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was repaired and the flywheel was machined in 2022.
