Forged AMG wheels finished in black with silver lips measure 19″ up front and 20″ at the rear and wear 255/35 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ front and 285/30 Michelin Pilot Super Sport rear tires. The SL63 is equipped with Active Body Control suspension, and the AMG Performance Package added red-painted brake calipers with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The ABS pulsation dampener was replaced in July 2022.
The cabin features heated and ventilated massaging multi-contour seats that are upholstered in red Nappa leather along with high-gloss carbon-fiber accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include automatic climate control, Airscarf neck warmers, COMAND infotainment with DVD-based navigation and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The car is also equipped with Keyless-GO, Distronic Plus cruise control, and active park, blind spot, and lane-keeping assistance.
The AMG performance steering wheel fronts paddle shifters as well as a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and a central multi-function display. The digital odometer indicates 24k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter M157 V8 features the AMG Performance Package, which raised factory-rated engine output to 557 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, increased the electronically limited top speed to 186 mph, and added a carbon-fiber engine cover.
