Ventilated 14″ steel wheels wear Alfa Romeo-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in 165-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, which were mounted in preparation for the sale. The car has been fitted with polyurethane bushings and front Bilstein shocks. Stopping power is provided by unassisted four-wheel disc brakes, and the master cylinder along with the rear calipers were replaced in 2021.
The cabin houses low-back bucket seats upholstered in black cloth with vinyl sides. A Pininfarina badge adorns the body-color dash, and additional details include a cabin heater, a locking glove box, sun visors, and rubber floor mats.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation including a tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline accompanied by a 140-mph speedometer. Auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles. A 2012 record notes that the speedometer and trip meter were inoperative. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 2.0L twin-cam inline-four is equipped with twin Weber side-draft carburetors. An electric fuel pump has been installed, and work in August 2021 included replacing the coolant temperature sending unit as well as adjusting the carburetors. Dynamometer sheets from September 2014 are provided in the gallery along with recent compression test photos.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Evidence of floor pan repairs is visible on the underbody, which has been painted black.
Correspondence with Archivio Storico Alfa Romeo lists the factory colors and notes a production date of July 24, 1967, as well as delivery to Newark, New Jersey.
