A wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Cobra center cap sits ahead of Shelby American-branded instrumentation that includes an 8k-rpm tachometer, a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The aluminum 427ci side-oiler V8 features a Shelby-branded intake manifold and valve covers, as well as a single Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator with dual fans, ceramic-coated headers, and a 21-gallon fuel cell. The battery and a kill switch are located in the trunk.
