The 16″ Hardy & Beck multi-piece wheels are finished in silver with polished lips and are mounted with 205/50 front and 225/50 rear Continental ExtremeContact DW tires showing date codes from 2012 and 2013. Bilstein front shocks were installed in 2015, while work in 2017 consisted of replacing the outer and center tie rod ends, lower control arms, and bushings for the idler arm, subframe, and trailing arm. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The front brake pads were replaced in December 2021.
Replacement leather front bucket seats and bolstered rear seats were re-dyed blue in 2015. The air-conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in 2017, and a Clarion AM/FM cassette stereo and an aftermarket amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity have been added. Work performed in July 2023 involved adjusting the doors and windows as well as replacing the rear shock tower covers, left door brake, power window switch, and seat adjustment knob.
The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes the clock is nonfunctional. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, approximately 60k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and was rebuilt in 2017 by CoupeKing in Wilmington, California, at which time a replacement cylinder head was installed along with Mahle pistons and a replacement cylinder sleeve. The radiator and carburetors were repaired in 2020 and the intake gaskets replaced at that time.
The three-speed automatic transmission and torque converter were overhauled by Transmissions Masters of Santa Ana, California in preparation for the sale. The differential was resealed in 2017, and the mount and driveshaft center support replaced at that time. The seller states that an area of corrosion around one of the floor drain plugs has been treated, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
