All Trail Teams Special Edition examples were finished in Cement Gray for the 2013 model year. A Smittybilt front bumper and Warn M8000-S winch have been added, along with LED exterior lighting, a roof rack with a hi-lift jack, rock sliders, and front and rear LED light bars. Additional equipment includes illuminated mirror markers, mud flaps, a rear window wiper, a receiver hitch, a stubby antenna, and skid plates.
The 16″ TRD alloy wheels are mounted with 315/75 Toyo Open Country tires, and a matching spare is attached to the swing-away tailgate using a Westcott Designs adapter. The truck came equipped from the factory with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) and has been fitted with an ICON suspension lift with remote reservoir shocks.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a 60/40-split folding rear bench that have been reupholstered with black and gray Katzkin leather covers with red TRD logos in the headrests. Additional equipment includes aluminum door handles, grab handles, and switchgear, along with LED interior lighting, heated front seats, a locking center console, aluminum rear cargo area storage containers, a backup camera, a JBL sound system, a six-disc CD stereo, cruise control, keyless entry, a Trail Teams Edition dashboard emblem, and air conditioning.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A dash-mounted auxiliary gauge pod houses a compass, digital clock, and inclinometer. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque and has been fitted with a TRD cold air intake and a Borla cat-back dual exhaust system.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential.
