The 331ci V8 is said to have been sourced from the Shelby Engine Company and installed by DenBeste Motor Sports and was factory rated at 450 horsepower. Features include an aluminum engine block, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an MSD electronic ignition, long-tube headers, and Shelby-branded ignition wires. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. A fluid service was performed, and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and an Eaton TrueTrac differential.
