Matte black-finished 18″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 315/40 Nitto NT05R drag radial tires. Braking is handled by red-finished four-piston Brembo calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners. The Demon is equipped with an active damping suspension as well as Drag Mode and Launch Assist, which alter the engine management profiles and activate the transbrake and line lock functions.
The interior is equipped with heated and ventilated front seats and an optional 60/40 split-folding rear bench trimmed in black Laguna leather with perforated Alcantara inserts. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, red seat belts, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and an 8.4″ touchscreen with Uconnect infotainment, navigation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
A carbon fiber dash plaque indicates that this example is #2,949 of 3,300 Demons built for the 2018 model year.
The heated Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and mounted to a power-adjustable column. Instrumentation includes a configurable digital display flanked by a 7k-rpm tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer. The digital odometer indicates 5k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 6.2-liter Hemi V8 features a 2.7-liter twin-screw supercharger and was factory rated for 808 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel or up to 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft on 100-octane fuel when enabled by the race-tuned ECU included in the Demon Crate. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The Demon Crate includes a hydraulic floor jack along with a torque wrench, a performance air filter, a high-performance PCM, a replacement switch module for selecting high-octane fuel, and a set of front-runner wheels. Removed factory body panels will also accompany the car.
