A CCCA First Prize plaque is affixed to the right side of the hood, and the AACA Senior First Prize plaque can be seen in the gallery. A bolt is missing from the convertible top frame.
The chrome wire wheels wear Packard Eight center caps and are mounted with 7.00–19 Bedford Famous Coach bias-ply tires. Matching spare wheels mounted in both front fenders feature chrome-accented covers topped by side mirrors. The body-style 472 roadster rode on a 140″ wheelbase and features front and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by mechanical drums at all four corners.
The cabin features a bench seat that was reupholstered in tufted blue leather in 1975. Color-coordinated door panels with storage pockets are fitted, and brown carpets line the floors. Additional equipment includes a wood dash panel with dual gloveboxes, wood door trim, and a Jaeger clock.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a North East barrel-type speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The rumble seat is trimmed in matching blue leather upholstery.
The 385ci L-head straight-eight features a Detroit Lubricator carburetor and nine main bearings. Output was factory rated at 120 horsepower. The engine is said to have been rebuilt during the 1970s refurbishment and bored .020″ over.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
