Matching spare wheels housed in body-color hard covers are located on both front fenders. The Series 1707 rode on a 134.375″ wheelbase and featured a coil-sprung independent front suspension with semi-elliptical leaf springs out back. Stopping power is provided by vacuum-assisted drums at all four corners.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in red with matching door panels and carpets. The upholstery was redyed in June 2022. Features include a painted woodgrain dashboard, dual locking gloveboxes, burl walnut door trim, and rear passenger footrests. The radio, clock, and driver’s door vent window crank do not work, and the burl walnut door trim will need refinishing according to the seller.
The green three-spoke steering wheel, center cap, and matching shift knob were refurbished in 2021. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. An aftermarket fuel pressure gauge was installed under previous ownership. The fuel gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 4,800 miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 473.3ci V12 was factory rated at 175 horsepower. Replacement cast iron cylinder heads are said to have been installed in 2021. An aftermarket oil filter housing was fitted under previous ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via an optional column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. A replacement throwout bearing, clutch pressure plate and disc, and kingpin are said to have been fitted in 2016. A new muffler and heat deflector were also installed at that time, and the fuel pump was rebuilt. An auxiliary electric fuel pump is fitted along with an underbody power cut-off switch.
The firewall plate is said to have been restamped with the VIN listed on the title, B602353.
