Cab and bed
Used a monotone paint theme on this 1954 F-100. The body is done in a beige tone with a flat clear coat. All accessories including the wheels are painted two shades darker and covered with a high gloss clear coat.

Cab and bed
Used a monotone paint theme on this 1954 F-100. The body is done in a beige tone with a flat clear coat. All accessories including the wheels are painted two shades darker and covered with a high gloss clear coat.
The front and rear bumpers have been replaced with custom built roll pans. Modified the factory running boards removing the majority of the actual step, yet still keeping it connected to the front and rear fender and integrating the side exit exhaust into the rear section of the running board.
Raised the bed floor 4″ and reduced the size of the inter fender wells to accommodate the cantilever rear air suspension. The taillights were integrated into the rear fenders eliminating the brackets originally holding them off the rear of the truck. The tailgate is still functional as side mount billet hinges in place of hooks and chains.
Interior
Inside the cab an integrated tach, the air Ride control screen and the fuel management controller into the driver side of the dash. Other than an after market set of gauges, a newer ford steering column, vintage AC, custom door panels and carpet the cab configuration did not change at all.
Chassis and drive train
Installed an IFS front suspension with rack and pinion steering and Air Ride suspension. Built a custom cantilever rear air ride suspension that allows 8 plus inches of rear suspension travel. The changes have greatly improved the driving characteristics of the truck. It drives very comfortably at highway speeds and cornering.
The engine is a new 460 ci big block with aluminum heads rated at 450 Horse Power. A carburetor style fuel injection system completes the engine. The transmission is a new street performance C6 automatic with a 2800 stall torque converter. The rear end is a ford 9 inch with a Detroit locker.
