The body was removed from the frame and modified before receiving replacement floors, fenders, lower A-pillars, cab corners, and doors. The selling dealer states that the truck was sprayed with epoxy primer and subsequently finished in Porsche Carmine Red. A replacement windshield, rear window, and quarter vent windows were fitted, and the weather stripping was replaced. Further exterior details include tucked and narrowed chrome bumpers, H4 LED headlights and taillights, polished trim, and Kindig-it Design pop-out door handles.

The Fleetside bed was widened, bed pockets were filled and smoothed, and custom-fabricated rear tubs were bead rolled and fitted to accommodate larger rear wheels. The Zebrawood floor slats are said to have been imported from Africa and additional features include chrome-finished bed rails, a flip-down tailgate, and tow hooks. A matte-finish was applied to the body-color metal surfaces, and a concealed fuel filler is located at the rear of the bed.
Polished 20″ Forgeline three-piece wheels feature bronze-finished inner-lips and are mounted with Micheline Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 285/30 up front and 345/30 out back. A Roadster Shop Spec Series full chassis replaces the factory frame and is fitted with Strange Engineering adjustable coilovers and shocks, a four-link rear suspension setup, power rack-and-pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, and a front sway bar. Stopping power is provided by Baer six-piston calipers over 14″ cross-drilled and slotted two-piece rotors at each corner. A Kugel Komponents dual primary brake cylinder and a power-operated emergency brake system were also installed.
Work performed during the build reportedly involved enlarging the cabin as well as lining the floors with sound deadening material. The interior was refurbished by JK Automotive Designs of Stoneham, Massachusetts, with design cues from Hermance Design of Worchester, Massachusetts. The rear panels, door panels and Glide Engineering bench seat were reupholstered in Hydes tan leather, and a custom headliner, dashboard, and center console were fabricated. A Vintage Air climate control system has been installed, and additional appointments include power windows, lap belts, map pockets, square-weave carpeting, Lokar black-finished foot pedals, a wireless charging station, and a retro-style push-button stereo.
A CON2R two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilt-column and fronts a Classic Instruments horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 495 miles, which is said to reflect the distance traveled since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The inner fenders were fabricated and the firewall was smoothed and modified prior to the installation of a cast-aluminum 6.2-liter LSA V8 topped with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger. The engine was built by Don Hardy Race Engines of Floydada, Texas, with the following components:
A September 2018 dynamometer test registered 926 horsepower and 835 lb-ft of torque, and the report is pictured in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TCI StreetFighter 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ Positraction rear end, which was reportedly modified with an Eaton Tru-Trac differential, a Strange Engineering third member, 31-spline axles, and 3.55:1 gearing. A Circle D Pro-Series torque converter has been installed, and the exhaust system features tubular headers, a 3″ stainless steel exhaust system, and Magnaflow mufflers. The underside has been painted black, various drivetrain components have been finished in Cerakote Cobalt, and a Rick’s Hot Rod Shop stainless-steel fuel tank with dual Aeromotive 340 Stealth fuel pumps has been added.
Photos documenting various states of the build process are presented in the gallery below.
