The body was repainted in gray during current ownership and the bumpers were also refinished to match. One-piece side windows were installed at that time, and additional exterior details include aftermarket headlights and taillights, dark gray-finished trim and badging, a Chevrolet-branded tailgate, tinted windows, and a tonneau bed cover.
The 22″ American Racing wheels wear Toyo Proxes Sport SUV tires. The truck rides on air springs with dual Airmaxxx 580 air compressors as well as front and rear sway bars, Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks, and ProComp suspension limit straps. Braking is handled by power-assisted front Wilwood discs and rear drums with a Wilwood master cylinder.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with quilted red inserts and stitching. The sun visors and quilted headliner are trimmed in microsuede, and amenities include air conditioning, push-button ignition, power windows, a center console with cupholders, and a Kenwood stereo linked to a JL Audio subwoofer stored behind the driver’s seat.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Intellitronix instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a central digital clock, and supplementary gauges. Air suspension readouts are affixed beneath the body-color metal dashboard. The digital odometer shows 33 miles, though total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was installed under current ownership and is reportedly equipped with a Comp Cams VThunder camshaft, along with upgraded valve springs and pushrods. Additional equipment includes tubular exhaust headers, an aluminum radiator, Corvette-branded valve covers, and a fabricated air intake.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission, which was reportedly rebuilt and fitted with a 3,200-rpm stall torque converter during the build. MagnaFlow exhaust components have been fitted, and additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.
