Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brake rotors, pads, and hoses were replaced and the calipers were rebuilt in February 2022.
The cabin is upholstered in gray MB-Tex and features air conditioning, a floor shifter, wood trim, a defroster, hand-crank side windows, an analog clock, and a Becker Mexico AM/FM radio. The air conditioning was converted to R134a refrigerant in February 2022.
Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and vertically oriented auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and drives the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Service in February 2022 consisted of a valve adjustment, an oil change, an electronic ignition conversion, and replacement of the water pump, spark plugs, ignition coil, fuel filter, water pump, drive belts, battery, coolant hoses, vacuum hoses, valve cover gasket, manifold gaskets, and engine mounts.
