Additional work in 2023 is said to have included performing a paint correction, treating corrosion, and installing a replacement front bumper and grille, checker-plate trim, and side steps. The Carfax report lists damage report entries in March 2019 and April 2021, both of which reportedly resulted in cosmetic damage that was repaired. Exterior flaws include paint bubbling and areas of corrosion on the roll cage.
Black-finished 18″ Kahn alloy wheels are mounted with 285/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a matching spare is fitted to the rear carrier. Braking is handled by hydroboosted four-wheel discs featuring AP Racing six-piston front calipers and 362mm slotted rotors. The truck has reportedly been fitted with an electric parking brake and a heavy-duty panhard bar and tie rods.
The Puma-style dashboard houses a Restomod climate control unit along with a push-button transmission module and a central iPad that controls audio and GPS functions. Additional appointments include bolstered front seats and a rear bench trimmed in black upholstery with white stitching as well as power-operated windows and door locks, stainless-steel door entry guards, and a Diamond Audio digital sound processor and amplifiers. A MOMO steering wheel fronts aftermarket instrumentation that includes a GPS-enabled 120-mph speedometer with an inset tachometer as well as supplementary gauges. The digital odometer shows 17k miles, which is said to indicate the distance traveled since the refurbishment work was completed. True mileage is unknown.
The supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 was installed by Black Bridge Motors of Norwalk, Connecticut, and is said to have been fitted with a high-capacity cooling system and a stainless-steel exhaust system. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6L90 six-speed automatic transmission, an LT230 dual-range transfer case, an Ashcroft automatic torque-biasing center differential, and front and rear Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differentials fitted with 24-spline axles and 4.12:1 gearing. Areas of underside corrosion are noted.
