The 15″ Rally wheels wear bright trim rings and 31×10.5″ Uniroyal Laredo tires, and a matching spare is mounted under the bed. The front axle has automatic locking hubs, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The bench is upholstered in Charcoal Custom cloth with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, carpets, and floor mats. Appointments include air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and brushed aluminum trim.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 998 miles.
The LE9 5.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 160 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer reports that the battery was replaced along with all fluids in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a 3.42:1 locking rear axle. Service records for Ziebart undercoating are pictured in the gallery.
Sales documents from November 1985 accompany the truck along with manufacturer’s literature, a warranty card and booklet, a vehicle options list, and service records, all of which are shown in the gallery.
