This example is finished in Obsidian Black and additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with Active Curve Illumination as well as a panoramic sunroof, quad exhaust outlets, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, front and rear spoilers, side skirt extensions, and mirror caps.
Staggered-width silver-finished 19″ AMG forged alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 255/35 up front and 285/30 at the rear. The Black Series features a wider front and rear track, stiffer springs, larger anti-roll bars, adjustable spring perches, and two-way adjustable dampers. The AMG Performance Braking System added red-finished AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The heated power-adjustable front sport seats are trimmed in black MB-Tex with Dinamica inserts and red stitching that extends to the center armrest and door panel inserts. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include aluminum pedal covers, AMG illuminated door sills, driver-seat position memory settings, a Harman Kardon sound system, AMG-branded floor mats, Keyless-Go, COMAND infotainment, navigation, a rearview camera, rear seatbelts, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The leather- and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features aluminum shift paddles. AMG instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer with an inset digital display, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just over 7k miles.
The 6.2-liter M156 V8 features a recalibrated ECU, a lightened crankshaft, and forged pistons and connecting rods. Output was rated at 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Mercedez-Benz of Arlington in Virginia, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total retail price of $123,625.
